Mark Derricott

Mark represents people in the following types of matters: personal injury, employment discrimination, worker’s compensation, insurance bad faith, unfair and deceptive practices. Over the course of his career including a five year stint in Olympia, Mark spent significant time in volunteer legal services and other community work including: Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services, Seattle Neighborhood Legal Clinics, and at the Union Gospel Mission in Seattle. He also served on the board of the Olympia Historical Society and was a member of the Olympia Planning Commission from 2010-2012.

He studied history and Russian at the University of Utah and graduated with honors from Seattle University’s School of Law where he participated in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition, International Law Society and the Russian Legal Society. In his free time, he races sailboats, camps, hikes and usually has a history or philosophy book under his arm.
