In the past several months, local hospitals have seen a rise in treatment for burns caused by exploding e-cigarette batteries.   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seattletimes.com\/seattle-news\/health\/exploding-e-cigs-sending-more-victims-to-seattle-burn-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">According to officials at Harborview<\/a>, victims have experienced severe burns as a result of the batteries.<\/p>\n<p>Burn injuries are understandably very painful and require extensive medical treatment.  These product defects will certainly be the subject of lawsuits or claims against the manufacturers.
